After a hearty breakfast, prepare to be awed by the majestic Nohkalikai Falls and explore the mysterious Mawsmai Cave, the magnificent Seven Sisters' Falls, and the scenic Shillong Peak. In the evening, we'll return to Shillong for an overnight stay. Today, we'll take you on a journey to Mawlynnong, hailed as the cleanest village in Asia. As you wind through the roads of the Shillong plateau, you'll be treated to panoramic views. A trek will lead you to a living root bridge, a marvel of nature. Explore the village, experience the local way of life, and after lunch, we'll drive you to Dawki, where the crystal-clear Umngot River awaits. Later, we'll return to Shillong for the night.Discover the beauty of Lady Hydari Park, visit the All Saints Church and the Cathedral in Laitumkhrah. Continue your exploration at Shillong Golf Links and the Don Bosco Museum. A delightful overnight stay in Shillong follows.
After breakfast, we'll transport you to Kaziranga National Park, home to the iconic One-Horned Rhinoceros. As you cover the 280-kilometer journey, you'll check in at your hotel, lodge, or resort, and the evening will be yours to enjoy at leisure. Your night will be spent in the heart of nature.Rise early for an adventure in the Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park. Witness the awe-inspiring One-Horned Rhinoceros, Wild Water Buffaloes, Wild Elephants, and perhaps even the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Alternatively, you can also choose Guwahati Airport in Assam, which is approximately 103 kilometers away from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. From there, you can either hire a taxi or take a bus to reach your final destination. For those who prefer a scenic route, Meghalaya can be reached by road from neighboring states like Assam and Tripura. This road trip offers awe-inspiring views of the countryside, creating memorable experiences for road-trippers.
